The Côte de Nuits-Villages appellation, created in 1964, extends from the North to the South of the Côte de Nuits, from Fixin to Corgoloin. This wine comes from a vineyard in Brochon, in the ‘Les Créoles’ climat. Its name stems from the word ‘crais’ or chalk, intimating at the many limestone fragments in the soils.

Winemaking :
The grapes are harvested by hand, sorted and destemmed. The wines are aged for 12 months in casks, both new and used for 1 wine.

Tasting notes :
Brilliant ruby. Clean nose of tangy red fruits, cherry and plum, developing delicate peppery and oaky notes after airing. The palate is upright and precise and develops more of the nose aromatics.
